The Supreme Courtroom Thursday mentioned that Rohingyas detained in Jammu shall not be deported to Myanmar with out following the prescribed course of. A bench headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde handed the order on a plea searching for instant launch of detained Rohingya refugees in Jammu and a path to restrain the Centre from deporting them to Myanmar.

The Centre had earlier opposed the plea saying that the nation can’t be the capital for unlawful immigrants. Through the arguments, advocate Prashant Bhushan, showing for the petitioner, had mentioned that Rohingya kids had been subjected to killing, maiming, and sexual exploitation by the Myanmar navy, which has did not respect worldwide humanitarian regulation. Violent assaults allegedly by the Myanmar military have led to an exodus of Rohingya tribals from the western Rakhine state in that nation to India and Bangladesh.
