NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday stated he’ll meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hunt help for farmers who’ve suffered losses because of heavy rains in Maharashtra.

The previous Union minister visited Kankarbawadi, Sastur villages in Osmanabad district of Marathwada area within the morning and interacted with farmers affected by the heavy rains that lashed components of state over the previous few days.

Heavy rains and floods have claimed at the very least 48 lives in Maharashtra’s Pune, Konkan and Aurangabad divisions whereas crops on lakhs of hectares have been broken extensively.
